Kelly & Ryan Part 2

Kelly and Ryan’s wedding started off at C Level and then moved on to Wine Steals in Point Loma.  The reception at Wine Steals was low key and gave Ryan and Kelly a chance to spend time with their friends and family.  So many brides and grooms say that they don’t remember their wedding days because they go by so fast.  Setting aside the reception for socializing and really getting a chance to chat with people was a perfect compliment to Kelly and Ryan’s intimate and personal celebration.

When my husband and I got married six and a half years ago, our officiant called the day before the wedding and told us that she wouldn’t be able to make it.  After 2 seconds of panicking, we turned to Eric’s best man and asked us if he would do the job.  Thank goodness for awesome friends because Steve stepped up, got ordained (thank you, internet!) and the rest is history.

A few years later, Steve met Julie and when he did, we all knew she would be The One.  Fast forward to 2010 and now it’s their turn.  Julie and Steve got engaged and are tying the knot this August.  I am super duper thrilled for them and very proud that they asked me to make some portraits of them.  Here is a teaser from this weekend’s shoot.  There are many more fun ones to come.
